Adam (I hope that is his name) was very helpful. The place was why we hired an RV, a good old fashioned Trailer park that my wife and I had hoped for. Yes it's rustic and yes they where demolishing things but sharing a beer with the residents, hearing the train and it's horn made our experience feel authentic and not like some tourist rip off! We hope to visit again in the future till then, Haste ye back!

I looked at a couple of the homes. Actually applied and was told it usually takes a few hours up to a day to get an answer. I was actually excited because the trailer was nice and location great. Problem is it's been nearly a week and they never told us their decision. It only takes a moment to respond.

Maybe not the best place for an extended stay but certainly much better than rustic camping in a truck stop if you just want to stop for the night.

This place is NOTHING like the pictures. So disgusting! We drove through to check it out and there is no way in hell I would recommend anyone spending money at this dump.

Stayed there in May with my wife on our honeymoon all the way from Scotland.

For the price it's a great place to stay a night with full hookups when passing through town. The grounds were a little swampy and the site sizes vary a lot, so be sure to verify your rig will fit in whatever site they give you. Our 18' trailer had to be disconnected from the tow vehicle because both wouldn't fit in the site. Also there is the constant sound of planes flying over because it is located directly under the approach for Louisville airport and they were passing over throughout the night. The nearby train track is also active and can be a source of additional noise. Other than that, our site had only a 50A hookup, but they provide adapters for $30 and the entire $30 is refunded when the adapter is returned. The paths are nice relatively new pavement and the people were very nice. Even pulling in after the office closed we were able to work everything out over the phone.

Tried to rent a camp site to have a place to sleep while working out of town for a few months. Was willing to pay in advance for 4 months but they discriminate against older campers, even if they are in good shape, nothing broken, clean 90s model camper. I hope this is not a trend among the full time RV community. I don't feel it is proper or good for the community to put another down for not owning the newest and most expensive rig available. It truly isn't about keeping up with the Jone's, it's about the great outdoors and the meeting of new people in new places. It is terrible what this world is coming to.
